Application Guide

As with all things worth doing in life, applying your lashes for the first time may take practice. If it feels hard at first, don’t give up! It takes most people a couple of applications before everything clicks.

Be patient with yourself and soon lash application will start to feel like second nature. For most customers, it only takes a few minutes per eye to put on a full set of lashes!

  1. Clean your lashes with your favorite OIL FREE eye makeup remover or plain water.

  2. Carefully remove LashLife segments from the lash tray. Gently insert your fuse wand under a lash segment and hold the segment as close to the base as possible. Pull the segment in an upward motion to release from the lash tray. Set your lashes down, ready for application.

NB*  apply lashes from the inner to the outer corner of your eyes, following the arrows on the packaging

  3. Work on one eye at a time. On the eye, you choose to start with, apply a small amount of LashLife glue to your lashes as you would mascara while focusing on the base of your lashes.

Do not apply to the tips of your lashes to avoid clumping.

Do not apply to your waterline/ tightline.

*Glue application method 2: use the tip of the glue applicator to dot a small amount of glue along the base of your lash line, 1-2mm away from your water line.

  4. With your Applicator wand, hold just the tips of the lash segment so that most of the lash surface is exposed. Dab a tiny amount of glue to the top of the lash segment spine.

  5. Apply the segment to your natural lashes, lining up the base of the lash segment close to, but not touching, the start of your natural lashes. You want the segments to be about 1-2mm away from your waterline. We recommend not applying the segments all the way to your outer corners, especially if you’re a side-sleeper, to prevent them from getting crushed by your pillow. Leave a few free lashes on the inner and outer corner of your eye.
  6. Hold the lash segment in place for about two seconds to allow it to attach to the glue. If your initial placement isn’t what you want, you can gently move the lash segment around to get to your ideal positioning.
  7. Continue adding more lashes. Apply lashes closely next to each other for a seamless look.

Depending on the size of your eye, you will use 5/4/3 lash segments per eye.

  8. Once you’ve applied all of your segments, clean off the inside of the applicator with water/ micellar water/ rubbing alcohol.

  9. Wait for 2 minutes for the glue to dry. Use the applicator to fuse your lashes. Gently clamp your natural lashes together with the LashLife segments.

If the lashes are sticking to your applicator when you are fusing them together, you may have gotten too much glue on the applicator. You can use a little water or rubbing alcohol to wipe
the applicator off and try again. You may also use your fingertips for this step. Use your thumb and middle finger to fuse lashes.
Make sure you are applying glue, not just on the spines of the segments, but also to the corners.
Remember, a little glue goes a long way

Pro tips and tricks

  • Your lashes can last up to 5 days, so plan to change them out in about a week. If they loosen sooner, you can dab a little glue and re-apply the lash segments.
  • Avoid washing your lashes directly, especially with oil-based soaps or makeup remover. Carefully wash around the lash area with a washcloth and gently pat dry. Once your lashes are
dry, fuse them with your applicator or fingertips to seal the bond again.
  • Use 3/4/5 segments depending on the size of your eyes. Shorter segments are designed for the inner eye corners. Follow the arrows on the LashLife packaging from shortest to longest lashes.
  • Curl lashes with an eyelash curler before applying the bond. This will make the application much easier !
  • Try Looking down into a mirror while placing lashes
  • Keep makeup remover, micellar water, or rubbing alcohol close by to wipe off any glue residue that gets onto the wand. A sticky wand can make application tricky.
  • Sleep on your back to avoid lashes getting pulled off by your pillow. Side sleeping may cause the outer corner lashes to become loose
  • Use a cotton bud dipped in micellar water or oil-free makeup remover to clean any makeup fallout on top of your lashes

Lash removal

  • Use your favorite oil-based makeup remover or oil of your choice (coconut, olive, sunflower, castor )
  • Apply directly onto and under lashes using a cotton bud, cotton round, or fingertips.
  • Massage into Lashes for a few seconds in a downward motion until lashes fall off.
  • Do not tug or pull lashes to avoid damaging your natural lashes.
  • Apply more oil to your natural lashes and gently rub in a downward motion to remove glue residue.

Reusing Lashes

Soak lashes in rubbing alcohol for 1 hour.
We suggest using the Dischem brand, 91% rubbing alcohol. Do not use a lower concentration of alcohol as it will cause lashes to disintegrate.

Remove lashes from Alchol, 1 at a time and use a makeup brush or cotton bud to gently wipe away any glue residue.

Dip the cleaned lash in water and set on a paper towel to try.

Your lashes are now ready to be reused.

LashLife segments will eventually disintegrate after 2-3 uses
